Do you truly know how to be happy?

Do to strive to be happy?

Do you consider yourself one who has a positive outlook on life?

Throughout the world people are in search of happiness. Sadly, many people get happiness confused with having more.

Happiness is a state of mind in which is liable to change depending on the day, month, year or situation. Humans have been blessed to be able to experience a range of emotions but ultimately the Bible tells us to be content.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Philippians 4:11

If you are one who is constantly struggling with trying to be happy, first ask yourself why are you so unhappy? Then ask yourself what makes you happy?

Please understand that THINGS will never make you happy. Things have the ability to fade, tarnish, get lost, get broken and get old. Things only supply temporary happiness.

Learn to be happy with yourself first. God has put everything you need within you, but He’s waiting on you to bring it out.

Here are some suggestions that you can try to help you experience true happiness.

  •  Be grateful.
  •  Speak only positive things concerning your life and situations.
  •  Pray and meditate more.
  •  Smile more!
  •  Laugh out loud more.
  • Do something nice for someone.
  • Take a walk in the park and experience God’s beautiful creation.
  • Listen to your favorite music and dance.
  •  Do something you enjoy.
